About us

Ovistine was incorporated in 2025 but has been operating as a subsidiary of Gelele Project Solutions for over 10 years. The initial parent company was involved in a wider Civils Engineering space, encompassing Roads Constructions, General Construction, Bridges, Telecoms, Farming, and Agricultural Projects. 

Ovistine was specifically established to focus on Telecommunication fibre network roll out projects of DFA (Dark Fibre Africa), Vodacom, BritelinkMct, and Bester Tech SA that are now being expanded to rural and urban towns and townships, including Businesses in these areas with skills in the following key sectors:
  • Site Acquisitions and Wayleave Applications/solutions
  • GPON-Optic Fibre Solutions under FTTH, for both Arial and Underground build solutions
  • FTTS/FTTX Fibre solutions for telecommunication links and Towers.
  • FTTP/B or EBU Solutions for Optic fibre builds into Businesses, Premisses / Points, or any other telecommunication hubs such as POPs, Datra Centres, Switching Exchanges, etc.
  • Full turnkey project planning/design, under FTTH, FTTS and FTTP.
  • NSBs-New Site Builds for Telecommunication Base Stations: we do all the Civil, from excavations to tower rigging, for various types of Towers, and sizes/height.
  • RF Installations for NSBs done.
  • RAN Installations for new NSBs
  • System Upgrades/modernisation of existing towers, e.g., from 3g to 4g or LTE to 5g, etc.
  • Site Maintenance, technical and Civils, e.g., Alarms, Battery swops, Card swaps, tower repairs and maintenance/re-torquing, etc.
  • We also deal with general Maintenance issues for Fibre, like Fault Finding and repairs, as well as for Towers, that are vandalised.
